Since moving back to Salt Lake City a few years ago God has been scattering breadcrumbs of knowledge across my path which I have noted and filed away in the back of my mind. I will bring these pieces of information forward now in an attempt to paint a picture of the spiritual landscape of the place I now call home.
I live in the belly of the beast, Salt Lake City on State Street a few blocks from the Capitol building and adjacent to a park called Memory Grove. This being the case I often walk around the Capitol and park.
I don’t remember how I first came upon the work of Dr. Laura Sanger but about a year ago I listened to a video of hers called Ley Lines, Portals, Spiritual Gates & Grids in which she outlines that Memory Grove park was the location of a spiritual gate for the Queen of Heaven also known as Ishtar, Astarte, and Ashtaroth the Canaanite goddess of fertility from which Easter and it’s accompanying fertility rituals are derived. Interestingly, the Hebrew word for grove is Asherah which were sacred trees or poles near an altar site for the worship of Ashtaroth.
“And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done. For they also built them high places, and images, and groves (Asherah), on every high hill, and under every green tree. And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.” 1 Kings 14:22-24
Dr. Sanger goes onto to explain that after 1986 Memory Grove became a place where local homosexuals went to find partners and have sex in the grove. Behaviors considered normal in our progressive CULTure, when viewed through a biblical lense, may be recognized as acts of ritual sex worship at the altar of an ancient goddess. In 1999 an F2 tornado ripped through Memory Grove and tore up the trees. Tornado’s in Utah are rare but no land is immune to an act of God.
Dr. Sanger’s team found other altars and pentagrams in the grove which solidified their somber spiritual assessment of the park and Capitol grounds. On one of my walks the other day I noted the lions which guard the Western and Eastern entrances of the Capitol building. Jonathan Cahn documents the association between Ishtar and the lion in his book The Return of the Gods.
“The goddess was called Labbatu, the Lioness. The title spoke of her power, her ferocity, and her savagery in battle… No other animal was so associated with the goddess. None other so graphically embodied her. It was the “symbol of her divinity.” It was the lion that carried her into battle. She is described as riding a chariot driven by seven lions. And in carved reliefs, she stands on the back of a lion or lions as she rides into war. Her power was so great that even the king of beasts yielded to her will and obeyed her commands. Thus the lion was her chosen platform from which she would wage war and inflict vengeance.”
Ishtar, also known as Venus the morning and evening star, may be appropriating Christs symbolism as the lion of the tribe of Judah and one true light of the world in her pride and jealousy.
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:12-17
Beneath the veneer of a state that is clean, conservative, and as the Latter Day Saints would have you believe, Christian, runs a counter culture which could not be further to the left hand path if it tried. Nearly every business establishment you enter is flying rainbow and trans flags and is staffed by brightly colored gender non conforming people. I have also watched the homeless population soar since I first came here in 2010. I do not mention these demographics to judge them for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Jonathan Cahn details that the rainbow and parades were also historically associated with Ishtar.
“The (pride) flag was a representation of a strange assemblage of themes and elements that seemed to have little to do with one another. One would have been hard-pressed to find a common thread or unifying theme to bind them all together and make sense of it all. But there was a unifying theme and a common thread binding them all together—the goddess.”
Pink —> It goes without saying that Ishtar was the goddess of sex. She was the embodiment of passion, love, lust, sexual desire, and sexual practices in every form. The first color of the original rainbow flag was pink. It represented sex.
Red —> From Ishtar came life. She was the source of all fertility and procreation, the fruitfulness of the earth, of animals, and of humanity. She was the wellspring of all the generative powers of nature. When she was in the underworld, the generation of life came to a standstill. Ishtar was the goddess of life. The second color of the rainbow flag was red. It represented life (blood).
Orange —> The preeminent Mesopotamian goddess of healing was named Gula. But in time Ishtar appropriated from her the powers of healing, and Gula fell into obscurity. Ancient inscriptions survive with prayers and prescriptions for healing addressed to or centered on Ishtar. She is the one of whom it is written “takes sickness away.” It is written that her effigy was once carried as far away as Egypt to heal an ailing Pharaoh. The third color of the rainbow flag was orange. It represented healing.
Yellow —> Ishtar was closely associated with the celestial lights. The morning and evening star would carry her name, Venus. And the moon was her father. But there was another celestial light that was intrinsically bound to her—the sun. The Assyrian sun god was named Shamash, the Akkadian word for sun. He was Ishtar’s brother. Ishtar was, in fact, the sun’s twin sister. So strong is her identification with the sun that we can find a sun disk at her side in many of her carved images. The fourth color of the rainbow flag was yellow. It represented the light of the sun.
Green —> Ishtar was, as were many of the pagan gods, an embodiment of nature. She represented the vital forces of nature, the fruitfulness of the earth, the rain, thunder, and storms of the heavens. She was among the prominent and central of all nature gods. The fifth color of the rainbow flag was green. It represented nature.
Turquoise —> As we have seen, Ishtar was deeply connected to the realm and practice of magic. Her name was especially invoked in the casting of spells and enchantments and what today would be known as the occult arts. She was the goddess of magic. The sixth color of the rainbow flag was turquoise. It represented magic.
Indigo —> Though Ishtar was the goddess of storms, on the other hand, because of it, it was to her altars that supplicants came entreating her to grant them serenity. An old Babylonian hymn says this: At her glance, serenity comes into being. The seventh color of the rainbow flag was indigo. It represented serenity.
Violet —> And of course, Ishtar was a spirit, just as the gods were typically viewed by their worshippers as spirits. Beyond that, we have seen the connection of the gods to the spirits, the Hebrew shedim and the Greek daemonia. Thus the last color of the rainbow flag is of special note—violet. It represents spirit. What kind of spirit is represented? The color violet was especially connected to Aphrodite, the “violet-crowned goddess.” Aphrodite was, of course, an incarnation of Ishtar. So the first color set the stage, as it represented sexuality. The last color summed it up. It represented a spirit—the spirit of sexuality—the very goddess known from ancient times as Ishtar.
“It was always the goddess’s nature to take what belonged to others and use them for herself. The rainbow belonged to God. It is described in Scripture as being part of the glory that surrounds His throne. It was also the sign of His mercy in the wake of judgment. But the goddess of TRANSformation had transformed the sign of God into a sign of defiance against the ways of God—it was a banner of war. Those who joined in its display had no idea what they were doing or that they were being drawn into an ancient war against the throne of God.”
There are thousands of associations to be made between our CULTure and ancient pagan ones because there is nothing new under the sun. Even parades originated as worship to Ishtar.
“In the ancient Middle East she was especially known as the goddess of parades and processions. The ancient hymn “The Holy One” begins: The people of Sumer parade before you. They play the sweet ala-drums before you. Her parades became a central part of Mesopotamian and Middle Eastern popular culture and at the same time were an intrinsic part of her cult and worship.”

“The most famous entrance way leading into ancient Babylon was the Gate of Ishtar. It was the starting point of the city’s Processional Way. The great Babylonian parades would begin at the gate, then proceed down a half-mile road of ornate walls adorned with painted images. The goddess presided as queen of the great Babylonian processions and parades and thus was the one who inaugurated them at her entrance way.”
So how come the LDS church has not only been unable to keep these spirits at bay but seems to be partially responsible for their flourishing in the respect that it’s former adherents make up a large part of the counter culture in the city? If I were to take a stab at answering this I would say it’s because Mormonism is not a Christian (or in-Christ) denomination. Similar to Judaism which claims the Torah as one of its holy books but primarily draws from the teachings of the Talmud and its venerated Rabbis - Mormonism claims the Bible but primarily draws its doctrines from the Book of Mormon and the morphing revelations of its prophets. Judaism and Mormonism are works based religions in opposition to the grace found in Jesus who is the one true God and arbiter of righteousness. Any religion which yokes its adherents to legalistic laws and works based salvation will find that many defect under the impossibility of ever being “good enough” under that system.
I wish that this were the only issue with the seemingly glossy LDS religion but unfortunately things get much darker. Based on the testimony’s of former members there is an under layer to this establishment which is connected to freemasonry and the occult. Edward Hendrie speaks to the freemasonic connection in his book Bloody Zion.
“Senator McCarthy revealed that Joseph Smith (1805-1844), who was the founder of the Mormon Church, was a Freemason. The Theology of the Mormon Church is completely based upon the Judaism of Freemasonry. The Mormon Church stems from Joseph Smith’s publication of the Book of Mormon in March 1830. Smith’s publication of the Book of Mormon was curiously timed after the anti-Freemason movement that followed the murder of Captain William Morgan (1774-1826). Captain Morgan was a former Freemason who was murdered in 1826, after revealing some of the Masonic ceremonies and customs. His murder was a national sensation. There was even an anti-Masonic political party established in 1828. The anti-Masonic movement caused memberships in Masonic Lodges to plummet and it looked like the end of Freemasonry in the United States. The revelations by Morgan and his subsequent murder caused 45,000 of the 50,000 Freemasons in the United States to leave the order. It seems that Mormonism was a way to save a remnant of Freemasonry under the guise of a “Christian” church. Indeed, Senator McCarthy states that the Mormon millenialism is a Judaic construct that came from the occult Freemasonry of Joseph Smith. Freemasonry survived and the Mormon Church has since thrived in the United States. With over 14 million members today, the National Council of Churches lists the Mormon Church as the fourth largest “Christian” denomination in the United States.”
If Mormonism is a sect of freemasonry under the guise of Christianity then what is freemasonry and what’s wrong with it. Excuse me while copy and paste from Hendrie’s book again -
One might ask what is wrong with being a Freemason? Isn’t Freemasonry just a fraternal organization? Martin L. Wagner conducted an objective and thorough study of Freemasonry and wrote a book about his findings titled Freemasonry: An Interpretation. Wagner’s authoritative study of Freemasonry concludes that Freemasonry is not simply a fraternal organization, it is in fact a religion.
—> “We might multiply the citations from eminent ministers of the gospel, of almost every denomination, expressing their convictions that Masonry is a religion. In fact the most learned men of the church, irrespective of denominational affiliation, who have given this question any attention, with one voice, testify that Masonry is a religion. These men representing not only the church, but also occupying professor's chairs in seats of learning, men whose business it is to deal with religion and questions of religion, are from that fact, competent judges; and from the Masonic publications, its lexicons, rituals, encyclopedias and apologetic literature, enough of Masonry can be learned in order to judge of its nature and character. Surely the testimony of these men has weight.”
What kind of religion is Masonry? Wagner interviewed many former Masons who quit Masonry because they discovered that the Masonic religion was antithetical to Christianity.
—> “With the testimony of these learned Christian men agrees that of those who were at one time honored members of the Masonic fraternity, but for sufficient reasons left it, and in not a few cases, exposed it. We have conversed with a large number of this class of seceding Masons, all of whom assigned as the reason for their repudiation and renunciation of Masonry, that it is a religion; that it conflicts and interferes with their views and duties as Christians; that it teaches moral and religious precepts which their Christian conscience could not approve and practice jeopardizing their souls; that its aim and tendency is to undermine their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour; that it alienates their affections and support from the church, and destroys their faith in the Bible as the word of God. Their common sense as well as their moral sense taught them that as a religion, Masonry is incompatible with Christianity; that it is another religion, and being unable to serve two masters, they were driven to renounce Freemasonry with its hidden things, in order to have peace of mind and a good. conscience toward God. From the testimony of these devout Christians, who firmly expected to obtain more light when they united with the fraternity, we are persuaded that Freemasonry is a religion. These men learned these things, came to these convictions while active members of the craft and sought earnestly its secret arts by which they might learn truth, practice relief, and above all to subdue their passions. Finding it a religion which sought their support and loyalty over against that of their Lord Jesus Christ, they renounced its hidden works, and repudiated its claims.”
Wagner discovered that although Freemasonry is contrary to Christianity, it uses Christian theological terms in many of its rituals in order to hoodwink the uninitiated.
—> “Freemasonry is a system of cunningly devised fables whereby it deceives all except the discerning few whose wit and wisdom enable them to perceive the deeper meaning, and who alone of all those admitted into the order become the true Masons.”
The peculiar theological and religious ideas which Freemasonry holds and aims to inculcate while positively non-Christian, are expressed in terms of Christian theology, not to express the Christian ideas or to show their harmony with Christian thought, but to give them a Christian coloring the more effectually to deceive, mislead and hoodwink the neophyte, the conscientious member, and the non-Mason into whose hands Masonic literature may come, and also to intensify the task of the Mason to learn the real sentiments.
For those offended by this understand that freemasonry, as described by Brandon Kroll, is “a ponzi scheme towards Satanism”. There are many levels and neophytes are kept in the dark. The true tenets of freemasonry are only revealed to those in the upper echelons. On the surface level, perhaps many Later Day Saints are Christian, only God can see their hearts, but the foundation of the LDS church is Freemasonry and underneath this foundation lay the decaying crypt of phallicism, the occult, and worship of their “great architect” and “master builder” who is Nimrod possessed by Lucifer. This is a common pattern which does not only pertain to the LDS religion. Satan comes first and foremost as an angel of light but in truth is a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
A prototype of freemasonry is portrayed in Ezekiel 8 where God takes Ezekiel in the spirit to witness the idolatry of the house of Judah. “He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven, and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was (asherah), which provokes to jealousy. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain. Then He said to me, “Son of man, lift your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the altar gate, was this image of jealousy in the entrance. Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door. And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls. And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.’ ” And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the LORD’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz. Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” So He brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east. And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose.
There is enough information in Ezekiel 8 to identify that they are worshiping what I call the unholy triad which consists of the earthly king (Nimrod) symbolized by the sun, the queen of heaven (Ishtar), and their son Tammuz. I’ll leave you to research “the unholy triad” on your own time but suffice to say that the same form of idolatry continues covertly in our contemporary “Christian” religious institutions.
*I would like to make note of the “seventy men of the elders” which is mentioned in Ezekiel 8. The LDS church follows the Judaic pattern in what they call the Quorum of the Seventy. “In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Seventy are leaders called to preach the gospel and administer the affairs of the church under the direction of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and the First Presidency. They are organized into quorums of seventy, hence the name.”
Unfortunately we have arrived at the satanic ritual abuse (SRA) part of what is going on in Utah and I’ve heard too many similar things from different sources to be gaslit by those who prefer to stick their head in the sand than come to a knowledge of the truth. I’ll let Utah native and fellow substacker, Cindy, give you an introduction from her piece ‘Ritual Abuse in the LDS Church is Alive and Well’.
“I am a certified victim advocate with a masters degree living in Salt Lake City. I’ve worked with ritual abuse survivors for 5 years. All of my clients are victims of religious abuse which is a form of sex trafficking. We know this is happening across the country but it is no where more evident than in Utah. Why? Because the LDS Church is fully engaged in child trafficking. How do I know this? Because hundreds of survivors have spoken about it. I’ve heard the stories. I’ve seen the evidence. I have worked personally with these broken souls. They are quiet and all around us. There are thousands upon thousands currently in the “system.” Back in 2017 a gentleman by the name of Brett J O-Hara from the US Census Bureau came to Salt Lake City and gave a speech at the Little America Hotel to a room full of who’s who. Brett had been with the Bureau for quite a long time and was the chief of the Health Insurance and Disability Statistics Branch in the Housing and Household Economic Statistics Division at the U.S. Census Bureau. Note that he was part of the household economic statistics division which meant he was very good with numbers. In his speech Brett detailed his involvement with tracking family members in each household and he noticed something strange. Utah was missing over 1 million children. This far exceeded any other state statistics. While the other states were reporting about 100 - 200k kids missing, the tiny state of Utah was definitely an anomaly. Brett came out to Salt Lake City to investigate because he suspected foul play and he was right. Unfortunately Brett didn’t live long enough to get the truth. He died of a brain tumor a year later. Between the Brett O-Hara story and the Glenn Pace memo, I could never shake off the idea that indeed there was foul play and so my search began with talking to survivors 5 years ago. I started with a woman in her 60s who had spoken about her abuse as a child within the LDS Church. Immediately I knew this had been going on in the 1950s at least and I also knew this was generational because she told me that ritual abuse was deep seated in the Church passing from bloodline families down. She spoke about a ceremony that took place at the Salt Lake City temple and the Free Mason Temple. She talked about rituals that took place in businesses, city government buildings, meeting houses and homes all cross the state. She was trafficked in other states as well so already we have a federal case on our hands because heaven knows, we’re not going to get justice in Utah. She spoke of the cannibalism, the murders and the torture. She had scars to prove it. The stories of ritual abuse are the most disgusting, inhumane and evil events I have ever heard in my entire life. Things you can’t imagine have been done to children for money, sex and power. No mind can conceive of the abuse in it’s natural state, so I knew instinctively that the survivors I talked to were telling the truth. I knew this wasn’t false memories as a lot of ill-advised counselors and psychologists had assumed. I came to my conclusion very quickly that this was not conspiracy. How else could I have spoken to dozens and dozens of survivors all around the country who didn’t know each other, but were talking about the same abuse, the same rituals, the same patterns, and in many cases, the same perpetrators. No, I was hearing facts from survivors who were sane and rational.”
The things going on in this world are more vile and depraved than you could possibly imagine and you should thank God if you’ve been sheltered from the reality of satanic ritual abuse, child trafficking, and blood sacrifice, etc that are part and parcel of satanic mafia run earth. Many have not been so lucky. Ancient forces of evil are alive and well and they are everywhere operating in the shadows under the guise of community centered businesses, “Christian” churches, and charities. This should not surprise Christian’s - our faith requires us to face the reality of sin and evil starting with ourselves. We should be beyond grateful for the privilege of being biblically educated and armed against these powers and principalities by God himself.
Utah is a cesspool of satanic bloodline ritual abuse, breeding programs, and human trafficking. In Dr. Sanger’s book The Roots of the Federal Reserve: Tracing the Nephilim from Noah to the US Dollar she outlines the traits of the seed of Satan and what she classifies as nephilim hosts which includes the spirit of rebellion, pride, deception, manipulation, domination, sexual perversion, witchcraft, blood lust, cannibalism, and physical characteristics such as red hair, six fingers etc. In Genesis 6 the giants (the word giant in Hebrew is translated as nephilim) are described as the offspring of rebellious angels and human women and the bible provides at least two times that they are described having 6 fingers. (see 2 Samuel 21:20 and 1 Chronicles 20:6)
As someone who follows many home birth doulas and midwives in the area I can attest that six fingered babies are being born here. Usually the spare digit is removed right after birth. This does not necessarily determine anything about the soul of the baby but it does testify to the fact of genetic intermingling. I’ve been trying to tell y’all that the truth is stranger than fiction!
I wonder why God placed me here and now in a position to hear the shrieks of the Queen of Heaven’s faithful worshipers as they parade along the processional way which is State Street. Sometimes they march for the right to sacrifice their unborn, other times in the spirit of pride, and recently, on March 31st, to console each other and declare that a novel kind of human exists which is here to stay. I watch, I listen, I see the chutzpah of the demons in this city and maybe that’s my purpose - to be a witness, a watchwoman.
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.
Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell. Isaiah 57:1-9
I do not enjoy dwelling on these insidious realities but I want the lukewarm and the agnostic to come to terms with the fact of evil. Somehow it doesn’t strike the average unbeliever that the evils of the world are so diabolically anti human that perhaps humanity is under the spell of powers which are not human at all. David came against the manifestation of these powers in Goliath and Jesus came against them in the Pharasaical leadership of his time which he accused of being whitewashed tombs and children of their father the devil. It is naivete to believe that these dynamics no longer exist.
What I have presented here barely scratches the surface but even a cursory look inside the buzzing hive of Salt Lake City reveals the nest of an ancient and oppressive Queen Bee in command of far too many ephemeral drones willing to carry out her every perverse order. But her oppression will not stand.
It’s only a matter of time now before the culmination of Isaiah 61:1-3. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
